Saskatchewanderer and my inspiration for SaskHiker.
Last month I applied for a position with Tourism Saskatchewan, called the Saskatchewanderer. Basically, the job was that I would get paid to travel around Saskatchewan exploring the natural side of the province, finding art and culture and discussing agriculture.
They unfortunatley, did not give me the position but I got to thinking. Why let that stop me? Why don't I on my own go out and explore on my own? Sure, I don't get the big budgets of the government behind me, but I am doing this anyways. Why not share it and try and start a community of people who love the outdoors as much as I do?
SaskHiker was born from this idea and now I am sharing things to do in Saskatchewan.
If you have a 1:44 check out the video that was too good to get me hired. (Well, that's what I am telling myself anyways.)
